Ashley Inclima

I found my calling to this work after my journey through pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss was marked by heavy emotional and mental challenges. The loss of my first child Adrian, to a fatal disorder in 2011 was a devastating experience, compounded by the grief of an early miscarriage just three months later. Despite these heartbreaking losses, my resilience prevailed as I found support in community and embarked on a high-risk pregnancy journey that ultimately led to the birth of my healthy identical twin daughters.

Both my personal experiences and my professional background have made me profoundly aware of the lack of support available for individuals navigating pregnancy loss. Driven by my grief and fueled by my passion to make a difference, I've founded Tides of Life Doula & Perinatal Bereavement Services LLC on a mission to fill a crucial gap in perinatal bereavement care. I am dedicated to providing and expanding compassionate support and guidance to individuals and families experiencing pregnancy loss, and navigating pregnancy after loss. Equipping other birth workers and providers with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide full spectrum bereavement support is essential to ensuring people receive the compassionate care they deserve.

Testimonial

"My husband and I have been experiencing recurrent pregnancy loss. Fortunately, in the midst of these losses I was lucky enough to get connected with Ashley. During this incredibly isolating and trying time, Ashley was someone I could depend on. She listened to my story and supported me through one of the darkest times of my life. She encouraged me to advocate for myself and inspired me to find avenues to heal. I truly believe that my journey would have been much harder to navigate without her. I am forever grateful for the empathy and guidance I received. In a time in my life where I felt so invisible, Ashley made me feel valued and seen." ~Kaitlyn
